UPDATE: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have stunned Hollywood by announcing they tied the knot in a secret ceremony on Saturday.
The actor and actress at a small chapel at Chateau Miraval in Correns, France, a spokesperson for the couple confirms.
The private, nondenominational civil ceremony was attended by family and friends of the superstar couple, and was conducted by a Californian judge, who gave Jolie and Pitt their marriage license in the U.S.
The couple’s six children were all involved in the wedding – Maddox, 13, and Pax, 11, walked Jolie down the aisle, Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, were ring bearers, while Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, threw flower petals.
Jolie and Pitt began dating in 2005 after meeting on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” and they have been dogged by marriage speculation for years. They got engaged in 2012.
It is Pitt’s second marriage following his divorce from actress Jennifer Aniston in 2005. Jolie was previously wed to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.

In typical Brangelina fashion, it happened very under the radar. In fact, according to a spokesman for the couple, they married last weekend in France.
Brad and Angie got together in 2005, just as he was divorcing Jennifer Aniston. They are parents to six children: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.
