Angelina Jolie threw up after watching her teenage acting debut because she was so embarrassed by her appearance in low-budget sci-fi thriller “Cyborg 2.”
The actress landed her first starring role in the 1993 movie as a robot assassin with the ability to feel human emotions, but the film went straight to video and Jolie felt humiliated when she saw the final product.
She tells Buzzfeed.com, “Oh, I threw up. I did. I saw it and I threw up. Just nausea. … But I was 17 and I think I thought I was making a real movie, which is odd, since there’s a scene when I’m decapitated and talking – as one does. But, yeah, I saw it and got really sick. I just remember my brother Jamie holding me and saying, ‘It’s going to be all right.’”
“Cyborg 2 “was Jolie’s second film appearance – she previously appeared as a child star opposite her father, actor Jon Voight, in 1982′s “Lookin’ to Get Out. “
